Tulip Season in New Jersey

A few years ago a tulip farm opened in Imlaystown, NJ, about 30 minutes away from home. It became a huge pandemic success story. People ordered tickets online to tiptoe through the tulips. They then picked tulips and paid for each stem. Each year the place became bigger. Last year they purchased the property next door doubling the size of their farm to about 300 acres.

In addition to tulips, they have a huge parking lot, photo spots, food vendors, a gift shop, and new this year a windmill you can climb for an additional $5.

I went in 2021, but was encouraged to return this year. It really was overwhelming. The advice I was given was to select tulips that are still tightly closed. They'll open soon enough. A week and a half later some of the tulips I bought are still blooming.
